thanks a lot for this. just wondering if anyone knows how to make a auto diamond machine in ftb. i know it has been talked about in the chat
111
100 = 15 Gunpowder
111
You should try this:
010
111
111
NOTE:1′s = uu matter and use with FTB.
nothing happens
Chances are this recipe only works with GregTech. Check out our GregTech UU-Matter Recipes.
Ppl should first read all the other recipies, then command
me and my friend left our diamond machine on over night we now have 3 diamond chests full of diamonds and 12 barrels with upgrades full we got to the point were now voiding the rest
Dude if you have that many start turning them to red matter and dark matter
Im guessing you either play tekkit or an old ftb… because dark/red matter don’t exist anymore…
Fantastic site. Tons of helpful info here. I am sending it to some pals ans additionally sharing in delicious.
And of course, thank you on your effort!
The recipe for tin ore and copper ore no longer gives the ore, instead it gives you 10 dust.
Isn’t that for gregtech?
The direwolf20 pack which is what i use does not have gregtech at all. So no, it is not for gregtech.
Awesome i am useing this for FTB direwolf20 too
No, it’s from plain IC2.
Hi, just wanted to say, I loved this post. It was helpful. Keep on posting!
I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
This really answered my drawback, thanks
Hello, I log on to your new stuff on a regular basis. Your humoristic style is witty, keep doing what you’re doing!
Now, before anyone else posts non-vanilla IC2 UU-Matter recipes, I would like to disclose the ones added by GregTech and are thus featured in the FTB Modpacks.
111
101=1 Ender Pearl
111
101
110=4 Blaze Rods
101
101
011=6 Bauxite Ore
101
111
111=2 Emeralds
010
011
111=2 Rubies
110
110
111=2 Sapphires
011
011
111=2 Green Sapphires
011
110
111=2 Olivine Gems
110
111
010=2 Titanium Dust
010
010
010=16 Alumin(i)um Dust
111
An extra I had somehow missed entirely (also GregTech):
010
111=7 Silver Ore
111
Another UU Recipe, this time from the Modular Force Field System mod:
011
100=16 Forcicium
010
I have noticed its taking forever for me to make an ultimate hybrid solar panel, recipe for iridium plates should be
222
020
222.
Four iridium ingots, four advanced alloys, and a diamond for the price of two iridium ore? There isn’t the slightest chance.
Are you talking about gregtech? There are no iridium ingots as far as I know, and if there were why would you make ore out of them? I’m pretty sure you meant iridium ore when you said iridium ingots and iridium plates when you said iridium ore. Plus, if you have that much UU matter diamonds and such should be easy. It is for me considering the energy I get from my solar plant. If you think its too much try getting some more solar panels to power your stuff, or maybe learn how to use IC2. Considering you have a mass fabricator, I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t have a problem with resources but with lack of convinience and knowledge.
you can make sunnarium too like this
111
222
111
1=uu matter
2= glowstone dust
If you place UU Matter like a T in the crafting table you get titanium.
XXX
0X0
0X0
titanium is added by a mod (probabily Gregtech I think….) and is not a part of vanilla IC2
Yep, it’s part of Gregtech. An awesome mod, no?
It sucks it makes everything harder so no gregtech is a bad mod
Do not judge GregTech on its hindrance in your plans, nor the fact that it makes an effort to further balance vanilla IC2 and other mods as to fully incorporate itself. Take some time to appreciate its higher end-game items and machinations, and that sense of achievement you get when you finally accomplish the construction of said items and blocks. If you really don’t want GregTech screwing with your game, you can disable the changes it makes in its configuration files.
Is it possible to make your own UU matter recipes? There is a lot of things I want that would help me if they were UU recipies.
Ostensibly, yes it is possible to make your own recipes. There are already several mods that, when installed alongside IndustrialCraft2, add some UU-matter recipes for their own block types. I’m sure the Minecraft modding community would be willing to help you out if you wanted to make your own mod.
There may be easier ways, too, but I’m not familiar with any specific methods myself. Good luck!
If you put UU-Matter like this:
0X0
0X0
XXX
You get 16 aluminium dust.
(This was in FTB)
Where do i find or what drops it
UU-Matter is manufactured by the Mass Fabricator block, which is an IC2 machine.
^^^^^
Feed it power and (optinal speed-increaser) scrap and it will make UU matter
Not sure if this was added by a mod or not ( using FTB Modpack Beta A ) but Emerald now has a recipe.
111
111
010
That’s added by GregTech, I think
Hey i have a idea for IC2:
Make a crafting table. Name:
UU-bench
Discription: a bench espeshaly for UU-matter crafting.its a 4×4 bench
And allows more recipies for UU-matter.
Actually that was just Forestry in an older version
The develpers of the technic pack don’t have permission for al the mods that are in the technic pack so I think it is low to copy mods without the permission of the people who worked very hard to createte the mods.
Interesting. I’ve recently become interested in running the Technic pack. Can you provide links to more information about this?
Personally, I like to let people form their own opinions, so here http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=5662 is a link to a discussion on the legality/morality of the pack, there is also another one titled “Wow, Technic monetization” here http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=6907 (probably more that I don’t remember as well) and also just remember to not trust 90% of what ANATOMICA_3rd says, he was banned for making up information and general flaming
It’s too bad they don’t have a humble-bundle style donation page set up!
They have a donation page here for the mods they use http://www.technicpack.net/donate/
As said two posts above, it was only SirSengir, creator of Forestry, that had an issue with the technic pack, and coded abusively/destructively, so that Forestry stopped functioning within Technic (without manual correction of ID’s, anyway). However, there are copies of the files for client and server online that allow Forestry to function alongside/within Tekkit without a hitch. (The server-side mod: http://www.mediafire.com/?bzwr9s9ww4ryekm, the client side: http://www.mediafire.com/?o67559cmwc4q3dc – these work with tekkit 3.1.2, as I have been playing a server with a couple of friends before abuse of world anchors broke the server).
If you’re interested in running a Tekkit + Forestry server, by all means feel free to contact me – I’ve been looking for a new minecraft community anyway =P
Feel like an idiot – I thought that it posted your email address near your username. [filtered] – would be glad to help in any way, and glad to have fun on the server.
What do world anchors do?
You forgot the pattern for gold unless im blind as a bat its
010
111
010
Ur blind like a bat. XD
thanks man it’s great
Great post, thanks a lot!
so, is it just patterns of UU-matter?
This page? Yes. If you’re asking something else, can you be more specific?
In the IC2.config (in the /.minecraft/config) file, you can activate the recepies for NEI.
Lava source block (11) is:
010
010
010
Nei doesn’t show the recipeis for uu matter
to show the secret recipes in NEI,go to the minecraft/tekkit folder,go to the config folder,after open the file IC2 with notepad,and then search the string number 109,cancel true and put false.
Any body just try using nei?
Now if only you could craft uranium…
That would be nice, but uranium isn’t all that rare. Craft a mining laser and a battery pack or three and you’ll have plenty of uranium in no time
combining industrialcraft with equivalent exchange would yield some very interesting results…
Yeah, we’ve combined the two before and it worked pretty well
thats what tekkit is, plus some other mods
only problem with that is tekkit s ileagal and its better to install your own modpack
actualy tekkit is completely legal in case you didnt know since you need a minecraft account to use the technic launcher
Actually the versions with Forestry were actually illegal (and proned the player to Vechs-bee attacks)
Because I am apparently unable to reply to the above three responses due to the issue originating from the design of these comment sections,
@mojojojo
The fact that a legitimate Minecraft account is necessary to utilize the Technic launcher is beside the point. The Technic dev team, however many permissions they obtain, will almost never be able to attain a complete set of permits, officially heightening their modpack status to “completely legal” in regards to intellectual copyright. Their two most glaring road blocks in their path are Optifine and Mo’ Creatures, both mods whose authors are generally very anti-pack.
@Nicholas Cardenas
Any version of the pack with one or more mods that lack permission to be incorporated into the pack (e.g. Any of them that still include Optifine) are considered by the majority of the Anti-Technic/Tekkit community to be illegal under Intellectual Copyright laws.
And please, if you’re going to mention the work of the Technic devs, don’t refer to it exclusively as Tekkit. There is a large difference between the two main T-Packs as a whole and just Tekkit itself.
For those of use who decided that EE is too OP to allow, using UU matter (which is considerably more balanced) to create uranium would be nice. If I could, I would add the recipe as follows:
XXX
X-X
XXX
to yield 1 or 2 uranium
i’m not sure yet, but i heard in ic2 last version seems tin ore and copper ore recipe are the same but they give u 10 tin dust or 10 copper dust
can anyone confirm this please?
nope. they’ll still give you ore.
There will however be an update that makes tin and copper give dust instead of ore, which is a bit rubbish cus you can get 20 dust instead of 10 with ores, I saw it on Direwolf’s lp, on Vswe’s auto quantum machine, it made dust.

Lol it’s actually 511 combinations. It would be 2^9-1, since you can’t have all spaces with no Uu matter…
You get 20 Coal for 3 UU-Matter not 2

and

I am still on IC2 v1.64, I don’t know if the recipes have changed.
